Shortly after introducing JioCinema Premium, Jio has now launched a new JioTV Premium subscription that includes 14 different OTT apps under a single plan. This includes Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLIV, and many more.
Jio has been aggressively expanding in the OTT segment. The company had earlier acquired sports streaming rights for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and IPL 2023. The new JioTV Premium subscription will provide Jio with a massive push in the entertainment segment.

JioTV Premium subscription is similar to Airtel’s Xstream Play, but Jio’s plan has a wider coverage of OTT apps. Both telecom operators have been exploring partnerships with OTT platforms with bundled recharge plans. The new JioTV Premium plan covers almost every major OTT service in India, with the only exception of Netflix.
To recall, Jio had also launched two new prepaid plans with a Netflix bundle subscription. However, users cannot club the Netflix bundle and JioTV Premium together as both are different individual plans.
