Jio has launched three new data vouchers with unlimited 5G data. The new data packs come right after the recent tariff hikes by the top three telcos in India. Jio users can now combine their 1.5GB/day plans with the new data vouchers to access unlimited 5G data. Here are the details.
Jio New Unlimited 5G Data Voucher
Jio has launched three new data vouchers worth Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151. These packs provide high-speed 4G data and unlimited access to 5G data. They are available on the Jio website under the True Unlimited Upgrade section in the recharge menu.

The best part about these data vouchers is that they carry the same validity as your base plan. So, if you have an annual plan active on your Jio SIM, getting any one of these vouchers will give you 5G access for an entire year.
When Jio revised its tariff rates, the telco restricted access to unlimited 5G to plans of 2GB/day and higher. Hence, entry-level and 1.5GB/day plan users were no longer eligible for 5G.
Users can now purchase these True Unlimited Upgrade vouchers with a daily data limit plan. However, these data packs will NOT work with the value packs of Rs 479 and Rs 1899, as these plans have an aggregate data limit instead of a daily limit.
The new vouchers are currently only available on Jio.com. Users should navigate to Jio.com > Mobile > Prepaid > True Unlimited Upgrade. The packs were not visible in the MyJio app or third-party recharge platforms.
The new data plans do not affect the availability of unlimited 5G with other Jio plans. All prepaid 2GB/day recharge and higher data limits will continue to offer 5G data.
