Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced new offers on its prepaid plans on account of the 79th Independence Day. The telco is bundling additional OTT subscriptions of Amazon Prime Video and Disney+Hotstar on select plans. Users will also get up to 50GB of additional high-speed 4G data. Here are the details.
Vi Celebrates Independence Day With Prepaid Plan Offers
Vi is offering an instant discount of Rs 50, 75, and 100 on its annual prepaid plans of Rs 3499, Rs 3699, and Rs 3799, respectively. These discounts will be exclusively available on the official Vi app.
The telecom operator is bundling a free annual subscription of Disney+Hotstar on its discounted plan of Rs 3624 and Amazon Prime Video on its revised plan of Rs 3699.
Vi is offering 30GB of additional high-speed data on its semi-annual plan and 50GB extra on its annual plan. However, this extra data will only be valid for 90 days.

Vi’s Independence Day special prepaid plan offers will be available on the Vi app on Android and iOS starting from August 13 to August 28. The extra data benefits will only apply to users doing a new recharge. Both OTT subscriptions will remain active for one full year.
Vi has not announced any offers on its postpaid plans yet.
